GYN/OB help

Hi all, was curious if any of you knew a good OB/GYN in Carroll County or the Owings Mills area, would like to find one who has some experience with gastric bypass. thanks in advance

Hi Leesuhh, I see Margery Kates who has an office in Owings Mills (Crossroads area). My experience has been wonderful. I can tell you that between having Gastric Bypass and seeing her about 4/5 months post op, I was successfully treated having a 17.5 cm mass and CA128 of 115. Today, my CA127 is 1 or 2 and I see Dr. Kates and the oncology GYN every three months. It sure beats the alternative. Best wishes, Lisa

Leesuh, I am currently looking for one as well, you might want to look at ones affiliated with St. Agnes through their physician referral service since they have a huge bariatric program there. Just a suggestion. Good Luck, Denise

Hi Denise I highly recommend my OB/GYN - Dr. Nancy Hammond. Her office is in Columbia (corner of Little Patuxent Pkwy and Harpers Farm Road across from the entrance to Howard Community College), but they are affiliated with St. Agnes.
