How long from consult to surgery for Dr. Gandsas?

Just wondering if anyone could tell me how long after their consult w/Dr. Gandsas or Dr. Li until their surgery?

It depends on alot of different things. First, you might have requirements to complete before approval of surgery, you might have requirements to complete for the Dr., and then it depends on the Dr.'s schedule itself. I can't imagine that it would be too long, but it might help to write that down as one of the questions to ask the surgeon while in your consult. Good Luck.

It depends upon your insurance. I had my consult with Dr. Li the first week in March, and my surgery the second week in June. That was because my insurance company required a 3-month multidisciplinary supervised diet (surgeon, nutritionist, exercise, etc). But, during my consult, Dr.Li was able to give me a tentative surgery date right away.

When I went to their last seminar Dr Gandsas said it usually takes about one month from consult to surgery. Of course variables like your insurance co, whether you get all your docs in to them , eval etc. Hope this helps.
