Newbie

Hi everyone. Im a newbie here, starting the process toward a healthier life by getting the Lap done at Sinai in Baltimore. Im at the beginning of the journey going to tackle the insurnace company this week. I just wanted to know who has had the procedure done at Sinai and if you had CareFirst Blue CHoice. hello. I am kind of a newbie too. I am having my surgery done by Dr. Gandsas at Sinai. If you click on the insurers tab at the top of he home page and then go to BCBS you can see different info about the success different ones have had with the surgery. Have you gone to any of the seminars yet? I am going to be at the one on April 4th. Good luck with everything.

Hi Giselle and Kim, Best wishes on your healthier journey... Dr. Gandsas and his team at Sinai did my surgery in Nov. '03. I cannot say enough good things about the program both pre- and more importantly post-op. You'll find the program comprehensive and they provide you the support and tools to be successful if you do your part. The program has evolved and is better than it was when I had surgery. Welcome, Dr. Gandsas performed the RNY on me 3/6/06. My recovery has gone very well. I have Care First Blue Cross PPO. Eileen was great with getting my insurance approval. She'll let you know exactly what you'll need for approval. Good Luck!!! Nadine O.

I'm a newbie too. I had my surgery on 3/6 too. Dr. Gandsas and his team are wonderful. I can't say enough great things. Their pre and post care is the best I've seen in this area. I have Care First Blue Cross PPO too, hope that helps!!

hey, I have already been to one and we didn't have to wear name tags. I called to make sure of the date and time and it is at Sinai this time not at the Comfort Inn just in case you didn't know. I will probably be with a girl with quite blonde hair and I have a tattoo on my left forearm. I am not sure what else I could tell you to recognize me.
