Need to find a Primary Care Physician

Help, I need to find a primary care doctor who within Blue Choice HMO in the Towson/Parkville area of Baltimore that believes in the surgery. I just transferred to Blue Choice and don't want to have to wade through hundreds of doctors before finding one who believes in surgery as an option. The first one I picked does not. I weigh 368 with a BMI of 55 so its not that he doesn't think it would help me, its that he believe's that if I just diet and excercise I'll lose the weight I need. FOrget the fact that I've been dieting all of my life. Anyway, If any of you could help I would appreciate it.

I am not sure if he is in the blue choice plan, although I think he is, he isn't in Towson, but he is off of Rolling Road on Route 40, I love him. His name is Dr. Robert Ammlung. He walked in the room and told me he is all for people having this surgery if they are good candidates and said I was a good candidate. So if all else fails and you can't find anyone else, you might want to try him.

Hi there, I found an excellent physician. He is supportive, easy to talk to and just plain brilliant. Name is Elliott Goldstein, MD. Out of Rockville, MD. Name of the practice is Physician's Associates. Hope that helps!
