I NEED SOME PUREE RECIPES ? STAGE 3
Hi, I am not exactly sure what stage 3 is....but I found that you can puree almost anything...
I pureed a hamburger minus the bun...added in a bit of canned gravy for liquid...
also, pureed almost anything...
chicken w/gravy...
I could eat eggs without messing with them...
also put refried beans in a small oven safe custard cup...put it in the oven, adding a bit of cheese and some fajita seasoning to the top....the oven warmed the beans and melted the cheese...sometimes for texture I let the cheese get a bit crunchy....that was always nice...something crunchy...
Full soups, although I ate creamed soups from about the 7th day on...
Chili was good pureed...also added cheese on top....
I found that adding in spices really helped...ground beef can be spiced up with taco seasoning...or really anything...
Fish - I like gordon fisherman brand...it is a piece of fish that is NOT breaded or fried...it comes two fillets per box...it is best heated in the oven...it comes in several different varies...lemon/pepper, garlic butter, etc...I would cook one filet then put it into the blender for a few second...it is already soft so it is not really a problem...early on I could not finish an entire filet...
Also tuna with a bit of mayo
Part of pre-packaged dinners....the one I really liked was stouffers beef macaroni...something like mac and cheese, minus the cheese...I couldn't eat an entire dinner, but it sure tasted good...
At one point, I even pureed a hot dog with a bit of mustard...that tasted good...looked terrible but if I didn't look at it, it tasted pretty good.
also, I would order chinese...soups like egg drop and/or wonton is GREAT...especially when you are bored out of your skull with food....
Also, most mexican restaurants have a torilla soup usually made with hunks of chicken...that saved me many times....
I was so sick of food that I needed something different....ordering from restaurants really helped me through the first 6 weeks...
Not sure if this helps....obviously you have to eat whatever sounds good to you...
Best wishes
