plastics completed!!!

I am two weeks out from my second and last plastic procedure....I had a breast lift with silicone implants AND extensive lipo...had an extended tummy tuck and lipo back in September... I feel great and am so glad I had all the work done to finish my transformation. I hardly have any discomfort at this point and the scars are so fine I doubt in a year it will even be an issue. I can't believe the difference in my body.... It is amazing to me what my life has been over the past two years....wls gave me my life back!!! I know lots of folks feel the same way...but sometimes I like to remind myself what life used to be so that I don't take anything for granted!! Best wishes!! RAE

My ps is Dr. James Vogel in Baltimore....I am shocked at how great I look, especially considering how bad I looked before the plastics... He is wonderful... a true artist. He is incredibly easy to work with and his staff are the best I have ever seen in a doctor's office... If you need/want additional info, let me know... RAE

Did your insurance pay for you plastics? If so, I would like to get some pointers and information. It will be ayear for me on 3/30/06, and I have lost all my weight probably too much at this point and I am ready to look into some plastic surgery. I would be interested in seeing you doctor for a consultation especially if he knows how to handle the isurance companies.

Hi Hope...my insurance company was very firm about the fact that they would NOT pay a dime...I was self-pay the entire way...but, that said, you could always go in for a consultation with Dr. Vogel and see what he has to say...btw, his staff is SO nice... Hey Rae, Congrats on the new you! I too also had my first round of plastics 3 weeks ago. I had a breast lift & augmentation. Still recovering but feeling great. I love the new me. I am considering a TT in May, still not sure that I have enough skin to trade for a hip to hip smiley. I have to have a hysterectomy so I am considering it while I am already in there. Hey Patty!!! How about some details on your PS work -- who was your doc, what were the costs, etc. I am searching now for BL/BA . . . had my TT done at Thanksgiving and still a bit swollen and sore from that procedure. -BJ 300/150 at goal
