oh no hernia
Yea, for you! Well, bad about the hernia, but great that you may get a TT out of it. That is about the ONLY way I'm going to get insurance to pay for any reconstructive surgery for me.
Good luck!

Why is it that the insurance companies may pay for a TT is you have a hernia? I am almost positive that I have an incisional hernia (due to see the doc about it in a few weeks).
I am reading posts like this and am having hopes that it may be my ticket to a TT as well.
I have lost nearly 180 pounds and my tummy is in sad shape.

I believe it is because the one of the ways to make sure that the hernia doesn't reaccur is to tighten up the tummy muscles the way you do with a TT. And once that is done, taking off the extra skin isn't that big a step. You are already under and the time and expenses of the hospital is already paid for with the hernia repair. Still, it is best to check with YOUR insurance.
Good luck,
