surgery cancelled :(

Thanks for all the support, these boards are great. My surgery was scheduled for this Tuesday and I got the call late yesterday that it had to be cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. I'm so upset but it's just one of those unavoidable things. I'll update when I can, they won't even know if I can be rescheduled but they are working on it. Hi, Roni! I'm sorry your surgery was canceled. I know that can be frustrating to looking forward to something that important. Try to look on the positive side (yes, there can be a positive side). For whatever reason, maybe it's better you have the surgery in the future (an exteme example would be someone not showing up to work at the World Trade Center on 9/11). There are so many reasons that it may be more beneficial for you to not have the surgery right now. I was disappointed because I didn't have my surgery last year. However, by waiting a year, I ended up getting a job with paid benefits, so I had a primary and secondary insurance to cover my surgery. You just never know! I hope that helps a little. Robin
