Plastic Surgeons
THE best plastic surgeon (in my humble opinion) is Ricardo Rodriguez out of GBMC. He even has an advertisement on this site.
I had a breast reduction by him 11 years ago, and he did a "single scar technique" that he learned in France. I believe he was the only one doing it in the US at the time. He is a perfectionst and takes great pride in his work, too.
You will not regret chossing this Dr. as your PS.
Good luck in your search!!

Hi Bettina, we are very lucky in the baltimore/washington area because there are so many to great doc's to pick from...
I decided to go with Dr. James Vogel in Baltimore. I had my first surgery with him in September and my second (and last) surgery is scheduled for Feb 8th...
His staff is great, he is wonderful, he is a true artist...very calm and very professional....
Also, I did have a scare of a bloodclot late on a friday night, isn't that the way it goes...LOL He called me back within minutes...couldn't have been more than about 2 minutes...he was right on top of everything...turned out NOT to be a bloodclot....
My husband who was rather nervous about more surgery totally changed his mind after he met Dr. Vogel.
Check out his website, do a search, and see his website...btw, because I filled out all my info prior to my first app't I had NO, repeat NO, consult fee.
Best wishes to you....btw, if you want additional info about Dr. Vogel you can check out my profile or email me privately.
And as I mentioned, we are so lucky because of the sheer numbers of doctors in the area...choices, choices....
RAE
I interviewed several surgeons before I had my procedures (2) with Adam Basner, MD. Staff, facility, etc., all excellent. In fact, I still have a follow up from my second surgery later this spring.
My husband was also pleased with Dr. B (not just his work ) but he kept in touch with him and included in process.
My consults were free and I asked for references along with my laundry list of questions.
It's a big decision, take your time and trust your "gut" with your decision.
If you have any specific questions, do not hesitate to email me direct.
Best wishes,
Lisa
