Male plastic surgery
Hi there! I am hoping that someone will have the information that I am looking for regarding chest/breast reduction plastic surgery for men. My husband had his "tummy tuck" a couple of years ago and it was paid for by insurance. He still has a tremendous amount of excess skin around his chest/breast area. Dr. Vanguri has said that insurance will not pay for this type of surgery, despite the chronic rashes and skin inflammations that occur just as they did with his lower body "apron". Has anyone else had this problem and what type of surgery can remove the excess skin? Has anyone had any luck getting insurance to pay for this removal of excess skin? I am at my wits end! I don't know which plastic surgeons to trust or visit for consulations. Any information would be highly appreciative. Thanks!
Hi, Karen!
There is an excellent plastic surgeon being advertised here on OH:

Dr. Rodriguez is an WONDERFUL surgeon! He did my breast reduction 10+ years ago. He studied in France to be able to do a "single-scar technique" when doing breast reductions. He's a perfectionist and takes GREAT pride in his work.
I plan on taking my daughter to him for a breast reduction, and I know that he is the doc I want to do my plastic surgery when I'm far enough out for my tummy tuck, etc.
He works out of GBMC, a wonderful hospital.
I wish you all the best!
