Well, it is Tuesday, November 29th, and I am recently home from my 3 month follow-up appointment. Do you all have the time to hear the many...many...many wonderful things that I have to say!!! First and foremost, I read a post once that said after surgery, the office staff is not as easy to contact or aren't as supportive. Hog-wash and pig-swill (please forgive the nasty language!!). I walked into the office today and was greeted with incredibly loving smiles, wonderful compliments, and open arms. You would have thought that I was the only person who mattered in the world. Eileen..is such a beautiful soul. Her smile, her compassion is just amazing!! I was brought seen right away by Phyllis who was so kind and interested. Floowing my time with her, I met with Nancy. She of course, was so encouraging..supportive...and great. She really helped me feel as if I were doing something right. Needless to say, Karen..simply rocks one's socks!! She is just great... Of course, I then had what is probably my most wonderful meeting with Dr. Gandsas!!!! He is now my best friend (I wish!!!!). He was gracious, pleasant, interested, supportive, absolutely wonderful. He used the word AWESOME several times to acknowledge my look and my progress. Let me repeat that...he said AWESOME!!! He is AWESOME!!! I can't begin to say how great they are!!! I was honored by them today, because they have asked me to speak at the Dec. 5th seminar. I am truly humbled by their kindness, support, and faith in my ability. To the staff, I thank them 1000 percent for today. I feel much better now..knowing that I am doing the right thing. As I gave credit to Dr. Gandsas for the tool, he told me more so...that it is a partnership. It is our working together that brings about success!!! What more can I say except...THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT AND FOR THE INCREDIBLE HEART AND SOUL YOU SHARE!!!!! About the visit, itself... I was told that I am 62% less...but I don't know what I am less then...lol They were all quite supportive of my progress. All in all, it was a good visit.

OMG!! I had my 1 month appointment that very same day!! We must have had different appointment times because I sure didn't see you there. I know exactly what you mean when you say they are a wonderful bunch of people. Eileen called me the Friday before my Monday surgery to tell me she was thinking of me and was hoping for the best. What a thoughtful exuberant helpful person she has been, not to mention the catalyst that without I would not be telling you I'm post-op!! She handled everything and I trust her implicitly. I'm SO happy for you to be asked to speak at the next seminar. That truly is a sign of accomplishment on your part. Keep up the great work!! I hope I can one day follow in your footsteps!
