Cristina, Yes it is true he does not require a pre-op diet. Just no eating after midnight the night before surgery. I have a Vanguard band - I think it holds 10cc. My first fill was 4cc and I've been doing great with that so far. I'm losing a few pounds per week. Some weeks more, some less. Total 33 lost so far. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have - if I can.
