Anyone had panniculectomy??

Has anyone had a panniculectomy without having bypass surgery or weight loss first? If so, can you tell me about it?

HI there, I had a panni after some weight loss (before surgery) during a hysterectomy. It's all explained on my profile. The plastic surgeons opened me up, the GYN folks came in and did their thing and the plastics closed me. It was all covered by insurance to aid healing (my panni was large). It was a big surgery with a long recovery...but one of the best things I've ever done. Let me know if you have questions. Jo
