Sleeplessness??

First of all I would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am 8 days post opp and doing well. I feel as though I would feel really good if I could get some solid straight sleep!! Anyone had this problem? I sleep for 1-2 hours and wake up for 4 hours. Its been like this since I had surgery. Whats up with this?

This has happened to me also. It took me a few weeks to sleep through the night. Your body is still trying to get use to the shock of surgery. Between the anesthesia, the pain meds from the hospital, and the pain meds you might still be taking, will play a big role in sleeplessness. Just give your body some time to recope. Trust me, sleep will be come more soundly soon! Hang in there! Angie
