Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and encouragement. After 2 years of fighting with the insurance company (Independence Blue Cross) my 2nd appeal was approved. I can hardly wait to schedule my surgery and I will keep you posted. For anyone having difficulty getting approved, don't give up hope, everyone has a boss and there are processes to protect you and the insurance companies have to follow. Cheers!
