Any interest in a Central Maryland LapBand support group?

I've been banded since April, and am very active at lapbandsupport.org, (I'll post this there, too) but really also want to find a real-life band support group.... Since I cant find one, I'm checking to see if there's enough interest in starting one! Since its not associated with any particular doctor's group, this would be more social, get a chance to compare notes and support each other, kind of thing. Maybe monthly?... dinner or evening coffee or something? Open to banded, band-curious both. (I don't mean to exclude RnYers, but it seems like there are many existing groups for bypass, and we bandsters really do have a different path.... Love you all, though! ;) Since we are running into holiday plans now, I'm thinking of early January as a starting point. I'll try to keep an eye on this post for replies, but without a bump, that's a bit tough.... Please email me if you're interested in attending or helping. Barbara

Hi Barbara, I attend a lapband support group in Annaplolis. We meet every 3rd Sunday. We were meeting at the Borders in Annapolis, but will be switching up our meeting places. You mentioned you were unable to find a group. You are more than welcomed to join us. Email me if you would like more info. Cristina

Hi, I am in the process of seriously looking into having the lapband surgery done. I intend to go to the meeting on the 20th at Borders at the Annapolis Mall. I have never been but look forward to going. Maybe see you there! Sharon A.
