COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TEST DR AVERBACH REQUIRES FOR HIS PATIENTS

Lee, I know he requires a sleep study and an echocardiogram. As for bloodwork it depends on what you have going on. Diabetes then a current A1-C and a fasting blood glucose. He requires a psych eval and a nutritional consult. I hope this helps a little. At least this is what was required 6 months ago when I had surgery. Good luck, he's a great doctor. Denise

Lee, I had my surgery 4 months after Denise and Dr. Averbach required all that stuff for me too. It wasn't too bad. If you're committed to it, it's fairly easy to get accomplished in a short amount of time. I saw the Dr. at the end of May, had all my exams and 2 sleep studies all before mid-July. I had my surgery on 7/28/05. Denise is right, Dr. Averbach is an awesome Doctor. Good Luck! Terry
