I got a DATE!!!

Well I finally got a date November 7th. I didn't think it was going to happen and then last week the Dr.'s office callled with the good news. I am still in shock! Three weeks from today I am going to be on the other side. I just can't believe it! I don't post much but now I am going to start to more. I have all of my pre-op appointments scheduled. So now its just getting all that done and waiting. I must admit that I am a bit nervous. I have never had a major surgery before and don't really know what to expect I guess. Now really all I have to worry about is the surgery. I was so worried about how my work would react but they have been great. I am putting in to take off for four weeks. Does anyone have any advice to give me to prepare for the surgery? I could really use all the advice anyone can give. I would greatly appreciate. Thanks! Christina

Christina, That is great!!!! I do understand you being nervous .. I am also. My surgery date is 11-3. I had all my pre op testing done today,everyone was so nice. I was at Univ of Maryland for 6 yes 6 hours, but I was happy to get it all done in one day. Good luck to you Christina. Denise B
