Plastic surgeons in Balto Maryland and Aetna Insurance

Please I need your help. My husband and I just drove 2 ¾ hours to Barix clinic and their PS and it did not sound promising that anything would be paid by Aetna. If so the most would be a TT. Anyone out there used a PS in the Baltimore AA County area who knows how to get these things taken care of. I would also like to know if anyone with Aetna has been approved.

I just used Dr. James Vogel in Baltimore but my insurance would pay NOTHING. I think you are going to find it VERY difficult to convince your insurance to pay for extensive plastic surgery UNLESS you have an extreme situation....best wishes for a happy ending on your search. RAE

I used Dr. Michelle Shermack at Johns Hopkins Bayview, she is wonderful. I have BC/BS, had no problem getting an approval she handled everything, they came back when it was first submitted and asked for a statement from me on why I wanted it and then approved it immediately. Loved Dr. Shermack, not too impressed with Bayview but it was worth it. Cheryl
