Nioxin and at just about any reputable salon. Call around to your local salons and ask if they have it. You will want both the cleanser (shampoo) and the scalp therapy (conditioner). Barbara, I purchased the generic of Nioxin at Sally Beauty Supply. It was 15.00 for the shampoo, conditoner, and the leave in for a months supply. The name of it Nutri-ox system. They have as a 3 pack, it works well. I also took biotin during the 3-6 months. I stopped loosing hair right around 5 months and didn't start until 3 1/2. Good luck and don't stress, it grows back in. Denise

Hi, I just moved to the area and saw your post. The whole last meeting with my physician group talked about this. The essence is: don't waste your money. This is an internal issue and nothing you put ON your hair will make a difference. The hair loss after weight loss surgery happens at about 3-4 months for most people and resolves at about one year. It is a hormonal thing caused by the rapid weight loss and the trauma of surgery. My docs recommend GNC Hair and Nail forumla which may or may not help...but really...there's nothing we can do. It DOES get better. But anything you put on your head is pretty worthless. Mine is now getting better...was rough. Jo
