welcome to the wonderful world of bariatric surgery post op. everyone have practically went through the same thing. you are not alone.it sounds like you are doing great. no one said it was going to be easy, fun, a fast swim but you will see the weight just coming off and you feeling better. this will be a thing of the past. i wish you the best and keep up with the good work. remember follow the docs instructions and variety, variety, variety of puree or soft foods as you can. PROTEIN FIRST!!! try drinks, broths with buions, get a variety so that you do not get bored. take your supplements etc. stay with the board for more help and support. you will be fine in time and more than anything take time for yourself and get rest. keep in touch.

I haven't really had a chance to read or respond this week. The secrets to everyone's success are virtually the same. Protein, Water, Exercise and Support. No matter how much you hate food right now you still need to get in your protein. No excuses, variety is important and there is enough different things you can try that will help you find the right mix. Keep yourself hydrated. Drink up it really is that important. Make sure you are exercising and each day should be a little bit more than the day before. And last come to the boards or your support groups and ask questions that will help to pull you along and beyond. Good luck on your journey and remember 17 lbs in 3 weeks is pretty awesome. When have you done that before? Denise
