Amber's out of surgery and doing great!

Hi everyone...I talked with Janet around 2:30pm and had just spoken with Dr. Li. Amber is doing great and just coming out of surgery. Thanks so much for the update. I was just sorry I didn't have Janet's phone number to call her today while she was waiting. I'm sure this is just as stressful for her as it is for Amber.. Mom's worry that way!! If you talk to her again, tell her we are thinking of them! hugs diane

I just talked to Janet. Amber is up and about walking the halls at Sinai! She's doing great! I am so happy for her! Amber's a loser!! hugs to all Diane

Amber is home - Dr. G let her out around noon today and she'd doing okay- but she just had her first "pouch lesson". She gulped water and got nauseated. I'm working with her now. Thanks to all of you who've been so supportive. I'll keep you posted! She's walking and getting around, the gas still hasn't produced the "big one" yet but as she becomes more mobile I'm willing to bet that she'll be able to cause a major price drop at the pumps.
