Scary...

This has nothing to do with OH or weightloss but I just got this info from another board (Babycenter) I am on! It is a sad and scary thing! Just wanted to let you OHers in MD know.... http://wjz.com/topstories/local_story_243155241.html This took place in MD (Maryland) It has recently come to attention that a baby message board has been targeted by a brutal rapist. A woman with a 6 week old baby was a member of an internet message board for babies. She befriended another mother from the board and they have been chatting and posting to each other since their babies were born. They agreed to exchange some baby clothes and one mother gave the other her home address. Within 10 minutes a 300 pound man, over 6 feet tall, broke through her front door and brutally raped her. Her husband (or father, not sure) was upstairs recovering from some surgery and was unable to get out of bed to save her. It is my understanding that the man who raped her had been posing as a fellow mother on the message board all this time. PLEASE remember to keep your addresses and personal information private. You can NOT trust people. Especially as this news story circulates and gives other criminals the idea they might not have come up with on their own. If they are looking for baby message boards to target, Babycenter is THE LARGEST parenting website on the internet so they will find it. Please be careful everyone! This story made me sick and cry thinking there are people out there like this... I have 3 kids and to think some guy would do something like this!
