happy me

I am about as happy as I have ever been. Had my monthly check up with Doc Roe and I am FINALLY under 200 pounds for the first time in my adult life. I weighed 250 freshman year of high school. I now weigh 197!!!!! I still cant believ it. I made them weigh me 3 times. I am squeezing into a size 12 jean and am still blown away everytime I suceed. Why is it still so hard to believe it when the scale goes down but so easy to accept it going up? I am so forever grateful to Doctor Roe & his staff!!!!!!!

Diana, Congratulations! I am so excited for you. I also wanted to say congratulations on your new job, that's also fantastic! Call me, or email me directly, I've got maybe 2 pairs of size 12 jeans you can have, they are very cute, and I also have a couple of pairs of dress pants in that size. So very happy for you Diane. I know exactly what you mean. When I went for my 6 month check-up and the doc said I had the health of a 16 year old I was singing all the way back to work. It has now been 9 months since my surgery and I have stopped loosing weight for a total of 104 lbs. gone forever! I am sitting at 148 and couldn't be happier. Before you know it you'll be giving away all those size 12s also. One piece of advice, if I may....only buy a couple/few pieces of clothing at a time...OR, like I did, I bought several pieces and out grew them (in reverse) before I ever got to wear them! Now that I have a stable weight, I can buy more clothes, but in the beginning, I wish I would have had someone to tell me to slow down! Continued success to you my dear! Happy happy happy for you!
