psych eval

Anyone have dr recommendations for a psych eval? It really bites that i have to see an actual psychologist/psychotherapist instead of getting the eval done by my actual therapist. wouldnt it make more sense to get an eval from the therapist that actually knows you and knows what you are dealing with? *grumble grumble* so, recommendations would be appreciated. my therapist gave me a recommendation but turns out the dr doesn't feel confident doing an eval for this. help is greatly appreciated, this is one of the last ducks i need to line up prior to getting a date! merci! Hi Kelly - Check to see what your insurance company has listed. I saw William Geiger at the Baltimore Counseling Center. He has done many of the WLS evals and was covered at 100% for me by BC/BS Carefirst. I don't have the phone # but if you call information you should be able to get it. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip Stayce. I don't mind if the dr is covered by ins or not, so i'm not really limited in that way. I always seem to have too much in my flex spending account so this is a great way to get some of that back. I really appreciate the tip!

I use my flex acct a ton as well. Keep in mind you can use it for your protein supplements and vitamins too. Benisource (people that manage our flex program) just required a letter from my surgeon that said it was medically necessary.
