BCBS of Ill

Has anyone been approved with bcbs of Illinois?

I was bcbs of penn. and work in MD Had surgery In md. Approved in one day.... good luck

I live in Maryland (obviously) and have Maryland Point of Service through BCBS of Delaware. They have been jerking me around for almost a month. They tell the surgeon's office they need one thing and then when they get it they ask for something else. As of Thursday, the surgeon had sent them and resent them everything they asked for, but still didn't have the approval. I absolutely hate having insurance through a company outside of my own state! Hope for your sake that Illinois is better than Delaware!!
