Hello everyone.. well it's finally here! I go to surgery at 7:00am tomorrow morning. All the emotions have run their course.. I've pinched myself 3 and 4 times to make sure I wasnt dreaming. I do have a question as to what types of liquids did you consume when first coming home from surgery? My post op instructions gave me some ideas but I would like to know what others did when they came home. So please let drop me your thoughts.. it's the last day I will be online for a bit. Etta

I drank a lot of Crystal light and protein drinks. I consumed lots of SF jello, chicken broth, and SF popsickles all day. I will keep you in my prayers tomorrow.

Chicken broth, chicken broth, and more chicken broth. Beef and veggie broth are also good. Add some flavorings to keep from getting bored. I found that drinking cold liquids first thing in the morning would annoy my pouch, but a little hot broth or tea for breakfast kept it relaxed and happy. (I'm now seven weeks out and still start the day with herbal tea) Good luck to you!

Good Luck.. today! I am exactly one week out and I hate broth, I live off of warm or hot tea in the morning, ice water and crystal light, and SF popsicles for the rest of the day. I found that drinking something cold first thing in the morning doesn't set well with my pouch.
