I will be having my surgery Wednesday and was just curious on one thing. Are the rooms there private or do you have roomies? Thanks, Kim

There are two surgeons that do surgery at GBMC. My surgeon...Dr. vonRueden...has all of his patients on the 4th floor in semi private rooms that become private just for you...so loved ones can stay with you in the other bed. I would call Dr. Roe's office and find out if he does the same thing. Good Luck with your surgery! Nurse

SICU just one bed and the regular floor had 2 beds but I never had a roommate while I was there. I know everything will go great for you post an update when you get home.
