Hello everyone, I am about 6 weeks post op and have lost about 40lbs which is great and I am happy about it. The frustration is with everything else, I eat very little but I am always so full and then have a hard time taking in the liquid I need. I always feel like I want everything but know I cant have it. I know its a mental game and that it will pass with time. I just feel alone sometimes...thanks for listening...Lori

Hi Lori, I understand your feelings...and please know that you are not the only one to feel this...I am almost 14 months out, down 118 lbs and almost to goal.... as you continue to lose weight, you will (should) become more active....as you become more active, you will have less time to "worry" about food....meaning, your mind WILL have other things to do.... It is a bit tricky, but at 6 weeks out everything is still SO new....give it time, and whenever possible...when your mind starts giving you trouble, go DO something...anything...take a walk, vaccuum, take a drive, do something that takes you away from the kitchen AND makes your mind busy..... Congrats to you on losing 40 lbs!!!!! RAE
