Well.. I'm home now....

Suregery went very well and was uneventful. I came home a little while ago.... Felicia stayed another day, but her surgery went well also!! I'm very very sore and tired. Feel like a punching bag..but I know I'm on the losing side now and will do my best to focus on that!! Thank you all for your support.. please keep Felicia W. in mind too@@ Blanche

Blanche, Congratulations, and welcome to the losing side! Glad you made it home today, and posted about Felicia. (I can empathize with her, as I had to stay an extra day when I had my surgery two years ago, as I spiked a low fever the day after surgery.) I had both of you in mind. I know Felicia is planning (hoping) on coming to Dr. G's support group meeting next Monday night. I know it's a major drive for you, but I hope you'll make the meetings some time -- perhaps the 4th Sunday meeting at SGAH (although there isn't one in June). Please keep us posted on your progress. I did end up staying an extra night at the hospital, and came home this morning. I tried doing the heparin, but couldn't get it right, so I'm going in to Julia this afternoon for a tutorial! Otherwise, I'm walking, sipping, going to the bathroom - you all know the drill! My mom is staying through next weekend. I'm really glad she's here. The whole thing is quite overwhelming to me, and I'm glad I'll have you all to help me through it all. Thanks for all the good wishes!!
