Post-Op Lab Result

Yesterday I got a call from my doctors office about my lab results from my annual physical. I was told that my liver was elevated and that I need to start taking Vitamin D. supplements. Should I be majorly concerned over this?

Hi Tarsha, how odd...just recently, I too got the same call...my levels were not horribly low, just a bit...my doctor didn't want to give me straight vit d supplements as vit d is stored in the body....so instead, I began taking calcium with vit d added...small amount each day...I can always start taking RX vitamin D if the little bits don't bring it up... Not sure what causes it, or why...but thanks for posting as I had never heard of the problem before... Please share any info you get, so I can get better educated. thanks RAE
