Weird Stricture
I finally switched to soft foods yesterday and I couldn't keep anything down, including liquids. I was sent for an upper GI by my doc and the results showed that I don't have a normal anastomosis stricture. My stricture is in my small intestine a couple of inches below the pouch/small intestine junction. My doc said that it could be edema, a hematoma, or scar tissue causing my intestine to be compressed. He put me back on fluids and is taking a wait and see approa*****ase it is edema. Has anyone else had anything like this? If so, what happened?
