Good evening everyone, I just want to be prepared for the next week if anyone who has gone through this. I have a drain still in and think mr surgeon will possibly remove it Wednesday, then in about a week the staples may come out. Any real pain associated with either? I am becoming a big sissy in my old age. not really, just want to be prepared.

The drains feel more weird than painful. Especially if they are long. Similar to the staples it comes out so fast that the sensation only lasts a few secs.

Well you were both right about the drain, it has been over 1 week and it came out without and pain or discomfort, the staples stay in another week so I have plenty of time to be prepared.
