Yesterday I got the worse news possible~

Mel, I can't offer any suggestions but just wanted to say how sorry I am for all the chaos. I have had days just like that and I know how you feel (or can imagine anyway). Will sending up prayers for you sweetie for resolution to so many issues...hugs wanda PS: You might want to go to the main board or look on self pay or self insure boards... there were several that were able to private individual insurance waaaaaaaay cheaper than cobra that covered wls and then once surgery was done, they cancelled the coverage. Just a thought.

I talked to BCBS yesterday and they offered me a better rate than cobra. And they do cover WLS only I would have to pay a deductable for the hospitalization costs. I will still have to post-pone the surgery for now until I get a job...

Hey Melanie - So sorry to hear the awful news. You mentioned a while back you thought it might be a possibility but what lousy timing. That is great if you can get the BCBS on your own. I hope it all works out for you. I am sure Dr. Kligman will work with you to make sure things happen when you are ready.

They told us the lay-offs werent going to happen and they did anyway. I hate liars! Getting a job is the most important thing right now. I'll worry about the surgery later..
