Yes, I decided on a doctor. I am not a big on traveler.

I used him for another surgery and he and his staff was wonderful. 

That is great. I have my first support group meeting coming up. I am anxious to meet some of the former patients My surgery date is 3 weeks away.

Did SOMD provide toiletries during your hospital visit?

Wow I can't believe that I am just receiving this alert today a month and a half later.   Good luck in your journey.

I attended my first support group at Dr. Amin's. It was very nice.  We had a guest speaker. 

I am getting geared up. Only a couple of weeks until my surgery date.

I was wondering how long did your whole process take?  As far your first appointment with Dr. Amin ?  Did you have to lose any weight before your surgery was schedule?

The entire process took me about 4 months.  I had already had 6 mo of diet program with in person weigh ins at wwatchers.

I didn't have to loose weight to schedule surgery.  My BMI is 45.

I had to do an out of pocket nutrition program which is between 6 weeks and 6 months long w/ no breaks in attendance.

Their office staff has been great so far. 

My surgery is tomorrow.
