Bariatric-friendly PrimaryCare Doctors near Columbia, MD?

I had my surgery 12 years ago at Mayo in Minnesota, and moved to Maryland in 2004.  So I have never really established a good bariatric medical doctor here in Maryland.  My current PCP doesn't seem to understand or seem too concerned about issues I have , and I need to break away from him.  Long story, but I really miss my doctor back in Wisconsin who guided me through my whole WLS journey, and I'm looking for a doctor like that again.  So.....can anyone offer suggestions on a primary care doctor in the Columbia area?  I work in Columbia but work in Mt. Washington so I'm actually pretty flexible.  I'm so stressed about finding a new doctor that I've been avoiding seeing mine for 1 1/2 years, and i'm overdue for my all my checkups...not a good thing to do.  So I thought I'd check in here to see if you all had any advice.  Thanks....Kennette

I like the practice I go to in Columbia off of Thunder Hill. They have many doctors in the group. I see Dr. Bensinger and her number is 410-964-6200. GOOD LUCK!
