A new day

A new day for everyone that wants to make it a "new" day.   Remember to always love yourself first, enjoy the weather and treat your body good.

Protein first, hydrate well and choose healthy snacks!
Remember to exercise and if you can not exercise take a walk. If you can't walk for long, make sure to walk small intervals and slowly add a couple more minutes to your walk when you do. Eventually you will get there. 

Have a great day on purpose everyone!

The sun rises in the sky, a brilliant vision. I breathe deeply, relax, and know I can face the day. The sun sets in the sky, a glorious image. I close my eyes, know I did my best today, and prepare for the day to come.

When I first started coming to this board, people would post "feel goodies" and I was like whatever.

I just read this one today and you are right - you must love yourself first.

As for the protein first, hydrate well, mines the opposite at this point.

Welcome to the Loser's bench!   Yes right now you have to take things easy. But protein is still first for you.  You just will have it in liquid form.   It is very important to try to get in as much as possible because it will help you heal faster.  

I absolutely love DVR he saved my life and I am so happy that I learned to first love myself!  It is the only way to live happy and be successful in our new journeys. 

Sip, walk, sip, sip, sip, walk , sip...   welll you get the idea. lol

Thanks for th advice, Cira.

I am doing wonderful!  I can sleep on either side and am walking like crazy.  I always try to include steps in my walks.  This evening, I walked around the entire Arundel Mills mall.

Hi Barb,

I am so glad that you are doing well.  Wow you are doing really good to be able to walk all of Arundel Mills Mall. 
Keep up the great work.   Make sure to document your progress by taking monthly pictures of yourself, Also it is good to measure your body seeing those inches go is a life saver when you don't see the scale moving.
