Support groups

I am looking for a support group.

I live in Prince Georges County and my hospital is the University of Maryland Medical Center.

If anyone knows of some please let me know.

Dr. Kligman and Dr. LoMenzo's group has a monthly support group meeting in Glen Burnie on the 4th Wednesday of every month. 

It is in the Tate Center building at 305 Hospital Drive, 21061 at 7 pm

It's a great group...sometimes large, sometimes a few.  Andrew and Robin or Mary are always there.

I try to go every single month...I always get so much out of it every time.

 I have the flyer for that but its about an hour away from me. 
I was looking for something a little closer to andrews air force base.

St. Agnes has a support group twice a month (1^st and 3^nd  Mondays).  Try calling the hospital where you are going to have your surgery and ask if they have a support group, or try other hospitals in your area.

Eating Disorders Support Group
1st Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Binge/Compulsive Eating Support Group
3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.

Bariatric Surgery Patients –
LESS than a Year Out from Surgery
2nd Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.

Bariatric Surgery Patients –
MORE than a Year Out from Surgery
1st Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.

 These would still be kinda far for you but Holy Cross in Silver Spring has one 2x/month and Shady Grove Adventist in Rockville has one weekly on Thursdays at 7p. Ask your surgeon's office if they have one at UMMC?

 I've got a question.  Can you show up to any support group or just the one for your doctor/hospital?  My doc/hospital is far away but I would like to go to more support groups but don't want to travel so far. There is one closer to me but it's not for the hospital that I went to.
