Rode my bike to the store and back!

What has two thumbs and just rode all the way to the grocery store and back on her bike? THIS GAL!

I love my RNY!!! It feels so good to accomplish things I've always wanted to do but never could! Woo hoo!

. I am curious how far was the store. I am riding a stationary bike at the gym and I am able to so about 2 1/2 miles now. I live 4 miles from work and would love to bike there. It so good to reach a goal!

Hey Linda,

Ya know, I'm not sure how far the store is. It's honestly not that far at all. Maybe 2 miles? I'll measure it with a car and get back to you! I could have gone further, but it's not an easy ride. Lots of hill and I was afraid of cars. Not a lot of sidewalks. I think if it had been easier, I'd have gone further. I'd give it a try on a weekend maybe and see how you do first. I'm sure you can do it, but you want to be safe out there. Best of luck!
