The already made Atkins shakes are very good and high in protein, low in sugar/carbs.

As far as powder protein for shakes, I have only used Unjury.

I have yet to find a great tasting RTD protein drink. I've had a few tolerable one's, but they aren't something I could drink multiple times throughout the day, for a few days through the week.
The one's I thought were ok:

Orgain (all natural drink prefer the vanilla; can find in stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Harris Teeter; can also order online via amazon)

OhYeah! chocolate protein drink

Slim Fast high protein (cannot be found in stores, had to order online)

Muscle Milk (chocolate was ok, vanilla is better, but overall the Malt was the best tasting)

I've heard that a lot of people like Costco's RTD protein shakes, but I live a bit far out from costco and wouldn't want to buy a large supply and then not like it. I find it much easier to just make my own shakes with the powder and adjust the taste to my liking. cheaper to buy powder imo.

I got some of the EAS rtd low carb shakes at Target and Walmart and I thought they weren't bad.  I've only had the chocolate and vanilla ones so far. Definitely drink cold, one got warm and bleh it was horrible lol. Now I'm pre-op and I was told to try them out before hand but then I was also told your taste buds change and you may not like them post-op.  So only time will tell I guess.

I have tasted quite of few RTD protein shakes and the only one I really liked was like almost $3 a can 50 mg protein called 50 grand slam at GNC. I just didn't want to spend that amount of money all the time.
I have stayed with powder protein that I buy at walmart called Body Fortress.  I only like the vanilla. It is $15.00 for an almost 2 pound jug and with I mix th powder I use a fork for 30 seconds. Then I leave in the fridge for a while and when you take it drink it tastes like a vanilla shake.  I also add banana, strawberries or fruits, vanilla extract or coffee. One thing I noticed was that I like it before surgery and I could still drink it after surgery.  I am currently 4 years post op.

Good luck in your surge and journey.

THe only RTD protein shake I like is Isopure Smoothie which has some sugar because it is made with fruit, so if your early out you may want to stay away.

As for powder I only like GNC amplified Wheybolic (any flavor but fruit punch) and Click.
