well currently i have done everything my doc has asked me to do, quit smoking, went to three support group meetings at bay view and let me just say those support groups for post op and pre op patients are great !!  but getting back on track had my meeting with the nutritionist and i'm having my psych evaul today. crossing my fingers hoping that i get an all clear. also i have to lose 60lbs before surgery per dr.stelle instructions, so far i have lost 14lbs so far but i have not  weighed myself for two weeks. tonight when i go to the gym i will weigh myself and post my results on my blog so wish me luck.

No worries about the psych eval, as long as you're relatively sane and have normal expectations of the surgery you'll do just fine

60 pounds is a tall order pre-surgery! I'm sure she has very good medical reasons, but yikes! I'll be pulling for you and watching your blog to see how you're doing.
