Hey everyone its been a while but I am having some issues that I don't know if others have exe\perienced.  Lately I have been having bloodsugar issues : what I mean is my sugar levels ahve been all over the place sometimes low like 70, sometimes extreemely high like 215, they never were that high even before I was diagnosed as diabetic. Is this unstable blood sugar or what?  Is there anything I can do to get it to stablize?  I have lost my health insurance and  still looking for work and the blood work the dr wants me to do will cost 1500 tp 2500 dollars plus 250 to walk into his office,
Any help is greatly appreciated.

get back to diet plan~ 5-6 small meals a day. avoid sugar/simple carbs, and eat the complex carbs and proteins that we are supposed too. my pcp diagnosed me with hypglycemia and it was due to me eating once or twice a day. i got back the the basics, and i feel really good again.

also remember, drinks can be culprits too if they arent the right ones.

Hi,

Hope you are feeling better..  In my experience with my patients  if there are spikes in the BS and it is not related to diet there usually is some type of underlining infection.   I have even seen a simple cold, UTI etc cause a elevation in the BS prior to the patient having any symptoms.   The next question I have are you on diabetes medications?   I am also curious what time of day are your BS low/elevated.
