5th day of 5DPT

I am so glad that I did the 5DPT. I am feeling great and I am confident that my tool works perfectly as long as I work it. I am measuring my food the most I have been able to eat is 4 to 5 oz and I feel extremely full. With dense protein I could barely fit the 4oz today. Wooo hooooo!!

I have lost 7 pounds since Monday My weight is 147 so my goal is to get back to 144 by the end of next week.. I know a lot of it was water weight. I need to lay off the sodium. So I have decided to do the 5DPT again starting Monday for another 5 days. I want to really kick this carb monster cravings for a good long time.

So, I thank you all for reading my updates and for the encouragement and support.   I hope that a few people more members feel inspired to do it as well. The 5DPT will definitely help you get back to basics.

Cira....I am so proud of you!!!!!!!!!  I with you ....lets do another 5 days!!!!!!!! I feel so good and lost 8 pounds ....I need to get motivated to exercise.

Did you try any of the recipes? I tried the Tilapia one and on Friday I am going to try one of the chicken recipes papaya glazed something. 

I have been walking and I dance with the Wii and my 2 1/2 year old. I can't wait until it gets a bit warmer so I can walk for an hour like I used to.

You know you can easily exercise at home. You can start small.  Like for example put a chair in from of your TV.  And while you are watching the show you can sit and get up and do it a few times.  You can do jumping jacks, crunches, you can exercise your arms or walking around your house for like 15  minutes.  Just start small and work your way up.

Yay girl welcome on board!!!   We are going to do this together and remember to post an update today.  Remember to take everything to work with you.  Lots of cream of soup, s/f pudding, jello & protein drink.  The amount of protein that you should have a day is 1/2 of your body weight plus 10 more grams.  Oh and make sure to follow the 30 minute rule before & after meal.

Cira....thank you. I ran on the treadmill this morning and feeling great!!! So today is day 1 again and I actually feel good...not hungry. How are you feeling? I love that I can feel the restiction again....I was getting nervous that I had screwed up my tool. I love walking outside...maybe when the weather breaks we can meet and walk together. I did not try any of the recipes. I will this time. I found it so had to eat anything that I stuck with the basics....plain and simple protein. Laura and Cira....lets do this ladies!!!!!!!

Yeah girl isn't it a great feeling to know that we did make the right decision in getting this wonderful tool?  I am not hungry at all today I am actually enjoying my cream soup, protein drink and french vanilla sugar free pudding.  Yummy!  lol

Let me know what recipe you have tried just so I know if it was good. 

I am SUPER proud of you girl!  Keep up the GREAT work.  Glad you got on the treadmill, make sure to continue exercising each day.

By the way I moved to Charles Town, WV June of 2008.  We purchased a home in the STICKS!  lol So I am too far to meet with you but I am hoping that when the weather is better I can come up to MD and perhaps meet.  :)
