I need a recommendation for a small intimate spot

for a date...

something quiet  heavy mood lighting...
out of the way
NW Baltimore County  Howard County or the city would be better...

any suggestions?

There is a Melting Pot in Columbia and Annapolis. The booths (especially if just for 2) are VERY intimate and I found they had very heavy mood lighting.  Plus overall it is a neat/different experience. It is pricey especially since we cannot eat as much but if you are looking for something different...it works :)

oh well that's a good idea...  it would be just two of us...

and Columbia is a perfect place...

I liked it because it was basically meat, cheese and a few veggies so I tolerated all of the food well.

I can do cheese meat fills me fast  but i do a lot of carbs

I will check it out.

I'm not sure WHERE we are meeting so if we are around here I will for sure think of that place

Nessa, I like McCormick  & Schmicks  in Annapolis. They have privacy curtains you can pull around your table so it is really private. I know Annapolis is kinda far but I really like it there. I think there is one in Baltimore but I am unsure if they have the privacy curtains.  Kinda pricey but good seafood !  Good  luck. Julie

Yeah I would need to go more in the other direction.... if we are down here he will already have been in the car nearly 2 hours..... another hour to Annapolis might be just a bit too much...

I do understand. I just looked and there is a location on Eastern ave in Balt. I am not familiar with that area. Maybe you know more about that area than me. Whatever you pick I hope you have a nice time.   Julie
