Okay, I first want to apologize for being away so long.  I've had a ton of things going on in my life the last couple of years as I've been trying to get my life back on track.  Things are coming along slowly, but coming along nonetheless.  This board was once a great source of support for so many of us that needed it and it's time to get things back where they once were.  If you're going to be a drama queen, no real need to chime in.  I, for one, need the support and that's my purpose for showing up again.

So, with that being said, who is moving their butts and getting into shape today?  For me, it was a 3 mile run this morning and now I'm heading into work.  Haven't ran a race in almost two years and that's going to come to an end early next month when I enter a local 5K.  For those that don't know me, I am by no means a drill sargeant.  I believe in working at your own pace and progressing as it becomes easier for you.  Start out slow - maybe a 15 minute walk and then graduate from there.  You can do it and you are so worth it!!!

Hi Andy

Tuesday is usually my day off, but Im trying to talk myself into getting a walk in during lunch today. My shoulders are killing me from the arm work I did last night in Zumba.

I missed all the drama...but I really do notice it sure is dead around here now

Hey Mary,

I think a walk would be the perfect fit for you today, considering your zumba workout last night.  A nice walk in chilly weather always makes me feel refreshed.  Now that there are some people on this morning, this is the time to get the board to where it belongs and become long term success buddies for one another.  Welcome aboard!

Stephanie, the good thing is that you realize it's time to step it up again.  Think small steps now and giant leaps in due time.  Welcome back to the new, refreshed you!!!  You are so worth it.

Tuesdays for me are an hour "last chance work out" with my trainer at the gym.  I had slowed down with my workouts with a trainer now that I'm 2 years out in hopes I could do it myself.  I held on for 5 months and then gained 7 lbs so now I'm back to 4 days a week with my trainer.  Because I will NOT let my numbers go back up.

Since the second trimester, my exercise has consisted of walks to the bathroom and the kitchen.

But, on a positive note, I already have my plan in place for after maternity leave :)

i am prob gonna go exercise after an appt this evening. go to the gym and do a mix of weights and cardio. just started getting back on the exercise program. i was in dc on saturday and was on my feet for 8 hrs (lots of walking) and was tired but not exhausted. so things are awesome w/ my stamina. the guy i was with was impressed and felt like I did better than he did and he is thin and exercises regularly. so that felt good
