cymbalta?????

Has any one been on cymbalta after surgery since zoloft is not bariatric friendly? I have been on it for almost 4 weeks and have run into sever side effects. The insert that was supplied with it stated that if you have a darkening of urine to contact your dr right away. I woke up to urine that was darker than this print. Contacted the dr and he ordered liver function test and thinks that flushing my system with water will flush my system. I have also checked on line they are warning that cymbalta can cause fatal liver damage. Please be ware of this and my question had any one else had an experience like this?

I've been on Cymbalta for about 5 months now with no ill effects! Everyone reacts differently though. I also had great success with Effexor. Good Luck!

Was told by nirse practioner it does bit dusolve completley in the system abd can ibhibit weight loss.

Prior to surgery Cymbalta worked great for me. But I found that it is not that effective after surgery. Apparently it breaks down in the stomach so this is an issue for us. So they swiched me to Pristiq and it is working just fine.
