Hello, I'm very new to this and first time posting, thinking really hard about the sleeve, but wanted to know if anyone had any experience with EHP insurance?

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

Hello

I have EHP, although I have just started this journey as while so I can't help much on how they are to deal with. I called EHP and was given a case manager. If you have not done that you should call and ask for one. Ask them to send you info on bariatric surgery. It is nice to see someone else using EHP, I was beginning to think I was the only one lol.

Nope you're not the only one, lol....I did ask the case manager, some questions, but also told her i'm going to the seminar, next month, so i guess i'll get more info there, so excited that i finally made my decision, but so scared that they won't cover the sleeve.

I recently did the online Information sessions with Johns Hopkins. I have an appt at the University of Md this month but after talking with the case manager today I have to rethink it. It would mean going out of network and we all know what that means.

Yes so true, and you don't want to be out of network, more out of pocket monies goings out...so have you decided what procedure you going to get done?

I am thinking of the RNY right now. Right now I am trying to decide if I will do the 6 month diet with my PCP or use the Hopkins program. I am also a little worried because I have no comorbidties, which is a good thing but if I don't do something now I am sure I will have plenty in a few years. So many things to worry about.
