smoothie question...
I decided this week that I might have better luck getting protein in if I made fruit smoothies-
problem is that they're not turning out all that well.
I think, as weird as it sounds, that I might be doing something wrong? I added fruit, a little fruit juice and unflavored protein powder and then pressed the button.
It's all - fluffy? Not a very drinkable consistency.
I used fresh fruit - should I be freezing it first?
Any tips are appreciated!
Thanks!

Between these two sites, you should get plenty of recipes for protein shakes.

I'm so glad you posted this Erica because I was just wondering about this very same issue earlier today. I use the Magic Bullet. I use one scoop of powder, 4-5 small ice cubes OR frozen fruit, 6-8 oz milk and sometimes some sugar free syrup (flavored) and they often come out so frothy. I find it gets a lot better when the fruit is frozen, but I'm thinking it's the blend time. So hard to know exactly how long. Thanks for asking.
