Walking St. Michaels
Took off to St. Michaels on Saturday and we left the house at 7:30 am I weighed myself before I left home I was 247 lbs. (Wow finally in the 40's) We walked all day hit all the shops stopped and ate at a little cafe and Pam and I split a rueben and these tiny little french fries that were baked also they were garlic flavored mmmm. Anyway for dinner we ate at the Crab Claw Restaurant which I really wasn't impressed next time I will order the crabs instead of a dinner the fish was dry and the so called crab imperial was just crabmeat and it wasn't in sauce, anyway enough restaurant bashing I could only eat about a third of it and I was done I have great restriction. We walked some more hit a couple more shops too. My pedometer read 15 miles after I got home. We were both a little sore but we did it, I weighed after I got home and the scale read 243 I was estatic. Pam dropped 2 more pounds to send her total to 35 lbs. lost and my total to 51 lbs. I am so in love with my sleeve. So if you decide to just go and walk go to St. Michaels Island I will be going again soon.
Congrats on the weight! And congrats for the walking! Felt pretty good, huh?
Now..... are you talking about St. Michaels on the Eastern Shore? I am pretty sure you are......hence the Crab Claw restaurant review......
1} St. Michaels is not an island ....hehehehehe..... it is beautiful & surrounded by water tho! Its a GREAT place to spend the day walking too!
2} The Crab Claw..... yeah their crab imperial SUCKS!!!!!! I have never had thier fish, but honestly, there are a ton better places to eat in St. Mikes!
Another gorgeous place to spend the day walking over here is Oxford.....not as big as St. Michaels, but still gorgeous!
Glad to hear you had fun!
