Im back baby!! 9 days post op!
HEY Everyone!!
Ive missed you all so much! I had my surgery last week and while I was out all three of our laptops died. WTH?? So I havent been able to post. I tried to get here from my phone, but that was a nightmare. Im back now though...had to let hubby play first to keep his crops and bees buzzing...
I have so much to say!! I just dont want to smack you all with it at the same time, but here are some of the highlights:
1. I had an allergic reaction to the tape on my stomach, so when they took off my bigger bandages, my skin went too...OUCH!
2. I had been worried about being alone in the hospital...well, I was so out of it most of the time, it really didnt matter cause I wouldnt have been awake long enough to hold a conversation. That pain pump was awesome, whish I had had that with my band...I didnt sleep at all in the hospital with that.
3. I pooped today...all on my own with out any medicinal assistance.
4. Im really at the stage where Im over the recovery...Im just ready to feel better and get on with it.
5. My hubby is such a kill joy...he ended up throwing his back out...went to the dr...started a diet last week and as of yesterday he was down 20 lbs. IN the first week. He sucks.
6. Im down 11 lbs today.
Cant wait to catch up with everyone!

Tape.... I am allergic to all adhesives! Its a nightmare! When I had my surgery, I told them...... guess what..... they used everything I had told them I was allergic to! I wound up with HUGE fluid filled blisters that left huge ugly scars!
Hubby.... men lose faster... they suck...... but good for him!
11 pounds......woo hoo! Soon you will be losing like crazy!

Congrats Mary!!!! You go girl!!! I have a best friend who got the surgery a month after me and he's already lost 21 lbs and its only been two weeks for him. Men have it so much easier!!!!! Congrats again and keep up the good work!!!! :)
